Blurb

Hi! My name is Lauren Summerlin and I didn’t know I was a graphic designer at first. I got my start as a copywriter who was good at uncovering problems and coming up with creative solutions for them. When I started working with an instructional design team at Whole Foods Market, I fell in love with design thinking and working collaboratively to make things that help people.

I earned a BA from the University of Texas with a major in English, and then I went back to school for an AAS from Austin Community College in Graphic Design. I’ve also earned two certifications in Motion Graphics from the School of Motion.

My other talents include making silly drawings, running no further than 13.1 miles at a time, taking my dog Lady Bird on lots of walks, and making cringy puns. I also started a zine in 2018 and have since put out 11 volumes with my little creative community.

I’m looking for a full-time role doing a mixture of print and digital design work, with opportunities to do some motion design as well. Let’s work together!
